Title
Nos. 3 & 4 Gardiner Row, Dublin City, Ireland
            Description
Lantern slide of a Nos. 3 & 4 Gardiner Row, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 III 68' and without a title. Gardiner Row is located beside Parnell Square, one of Dublin's finest Georgian squares. The slide features the now Castle Hotel (number 4). Originally the hotel was two matching Georgian houses designed by John Ensor. In 1809 they were bought and converted into the Norfolk Hotel. Further expansion of the hotel took place in 1956 and 1986 so No. 4 was not part of the hotel in the slide.
