Description

Lantern slide of a high cross, Kilgobbin, Co. Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 III 47' and with the title 'Kilgobbin.' This high cross stands at around 2.5 metres high and is made of granite. Over time the cross has been badly weathered and its southern arm and ring has broken off. On the east and west sides there is a crucifixion scene is barely visible. The cross its self is sat atop a circular base that features a large bullaun.
