Lantern slide of base of a pillaster at St. Molaise's House, Devenish Island, Co. Fermanagh. Originally labeled '75 F' with title 'St. Molaise's House Devenish. N.W. angle Pilaster. North Face.' Pictured is a stone pilaster located within the church. The base of the pilaster is moulded and decorated with spirals and the Greek anthemion. This site was founded by St. Molaise in Lower Lough Erne in the 1st century A.D. On the site is a 12th century round tower and a small church dedicated to St Molaise which dates from the 12th or 13th century. These images have been found in the JRSAI, 7th Series, Vol. 5, 1935.
