Lantern slide of the stone foundations of St. Molaise's House, Devenish Island, Co. Fermanagh. Originally labeled '72 F' with title 'St. Molaise's House Devenish. S.E. Corner Pilaster. East Face.' This stone woud have formed part of the base of a pillaster within the church.. The site was founded by St. Molaise in Lower Lough Erne in the 1st century A.D. On the site is a 12th century round tower and a small church dedicated to St Molaise which dates from the 12th or 13th century. See JSRAI, Seventh Series, Vol. 5, pp. 23-33
