Lantern slide of St. Molaise's House, Devenish Island, Co. Fermanagh. Originally labeled '71 F' with title 'St. Molaise's House Devenish. N.E. Corner Pilaster. North Face.' This site was founded by St. Molaise in Lower Lough Erne in the 1st century A.D. On the site is a 12th century round tower and a small church dedicated to St Molaise which dates from the 12th or 13th century. Pictured is a stone pilaster located within the church. The pilaster is moulded and decorated with spirals and the Greek anthemion. These images have been found in the JRSAI, 7th Series, Vol. 5, 1935. Article by Lady Dorothy Lowery-Corry , pp.223-230
