Description
St Michael's Church
Lantern slide of the doorway of Enniskillen Chapel, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh. Originally labeled 'F 33' with title 'Doorway Enniskillen Chapel.' St Michael's Church dates to 1875, however an earlier church (1803) was built on a lower part of the site previously. It is decorated in the French Gothic Revival style, with the nave housing 13 bays of French Gothic windows. The tympanum shown in the slide depicts a last judgment scene, The Damned to the left, The elect to the right and Christ in majesty centered above.
