Description

Lantern slide of the tympanum at Clonfert Cathedral. Originally labeled d as '7' with title 'Clonfert RSAI. H.C. HS Crawford.' The tympanum is made up of 25 stone triangles, 10 of which are heads. Underneath are 6 richly decorated columns that make up an arcade also decorated with human heads. The portal is carved in sandstone.
