Lantern slide of a baptismal font found at St. Nicholas's Church, Co. Galway. Originally labeled '58 G' with title 'St. Nicholas's Galway.' A An internal view of the church shows the location of its 400 year old baptismal font. Carved into its side is a dog who is said to watch over those who are being baptised. Also pictured are two arches supported by pillars along with pointed arched windows. The church itself dates from the early 14th century.
