Lantern slide of the De Burgos Tomb at Claregalway Friary, Co. Galway. Originally labeled '49 G' with title ' De Burgos Tomb, Clare-Galway Abbey.' The canopied tomb niche of the de Burgos is found the north wall of the chancel. Decorated with the family heraldry it carries a Latin inscription that translates to 'Thomas de Burgo of Anbally, son of Richard of Derrymacloughney chose this place for himself, 1648 AD.'
