Opis

Lantern slide of Tailor's Hall, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 77' with title 'Tailor's Hall.' The slide shows an interior view of the hall, in paticular the stairs before it fell into ruin in the 1950's. It went though different stages of restoration between the 1960's and 1980s. Established in 1706, it is one of the oldest medieval Guild Halls that has survied in Dublin. Between 1706 and 1841, it acted as the headquarters of the Guild of Merchant Tailors. Itis now the headquarters for An Taisce, the National Trust for Ireland
