Description

Lantern slide of a 19th century map of Dublin City. Originally labelled 'D3 1 17 1806'. The map, according to text on the slide, was handdrawn in 1806 by William Corbet, 57 Great Britian Street and is a 'New and impoved plan of the city of Dublin'. The map has been split into two halves named, 'North Division' and 'South Division'. The slide has an area of interest marked out in red ink, which has been painted onto the glass itself.
