Description

Lantern slide of a drawing of a wall painting found at St. Audoen's Church, Dublin. Originally labeled 'D3 4' with title 'Wall Paintings of the Trinity at St. Audeon's Church. Dublin.' St. Audeon's is the only medieval parish church remaining in the city. The church is dedicated to St. Ouen, the 7th-century bishop of Rouen and patron saint of Normandy. The church has undergone many building phases dating from the 12th up to the 20th century when a porch was added to the North side. The drawing featured in the slide is of a 15th-century wall painting of the Holy Trinity and St. Anne. Unfortunatly the painting is no longer vilsible.
