Lantern slide of the Water Office, Belfast. Originally labeled 'D2 1' and '6:1' with title 'Belfast Water Office.' The building was designed by W.H. Lynn and built in 1869. It was originally built as a warehouse for Richardson Sons and Owdens linen merchants. Before WWII, it was purchased by the Belfast Water Comissioners. The facade of the building is on view in the slide, with a crowd of men standing outside. The building draws influence from Italian Gothic style.
